Yes it may have an American with a British accent that sounds oddly like Will Turner from the aforementioned Pirates franchise. And yes, you spotted that the main love interest is very British. Yes there’s a Sir Ben Kingsley in there and no, its not a throwback to Geoffery Rush or Bill Nighy. And of course the main character will flirt with the leading woman for most of the film, thereby providing the best comedic lines a la Capt. Jack…OH NO YOU DIDN’T. Why oh yes, I did. Prince of Persia is Pirates of the Carribean rebooted. There’s some call for it though, seeing as POTC4 is unravelling quicker than you can say ‘two and three were awful’. No, Prince of Persia is not a way for Bruickheimer and Disney to cover their arses in the event that POTC4 doesn’t go into production…
